Towerstream acquires Delos Internet

MIDDLETOWN – Wireless high-speed commercial Internet provider Towerstream Corp. has acquired Delos Internet, marking the company’s fifth-ever acquisition, Towerstream announced Tuesday.
The acquisition of Delos Internet, a Houston-based company, also marked Towerstream’s 13th market expansion. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“We are pleased to close the Delos acquisition which expands our national presence to 13 markets including 9 of the 10 largest in the country,” said Chief Financial Officer Joseph P. Hernon in a prepared statement. “This marks our fifth acquisition to date and we continue to seek opportunities in existing and new markets.”
Towerstream’s market presence comprises Providence, Newport, New York, Boston, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, the San Francisco Bay area, Miami, Seattle, Dallas-Fort Worth and the Las Vegas-Reno area.
Based in Middletown and incorporated in Delaware, Towerstream was founded in 2000.
