Why did you select your profession?

I got into theater for the best reason I can think of – I just enjoyed the hell out of it. Still do.

Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?

I’d love the chance to be an artistic director at another theater at some point, though Trinity offers me so many great opportunities, it’s hard to think of leaving.

What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?

Backpack across Europe. Get a Mohawk. Don’t drink so much when you go to Miami in a few years, it doesn’t end well. Don’t grow that goatee.

What is your favorite escape or hobby?

I’m in an incredibly rabid fantasy football league with some friends from college.

How do you keep a work-life balance?

A lot of the time my job is really fun, so my work-life balance is probably a little out-of-whack, but my work-fun balance is OK.

What one thing in your professional life would you like a do-over on?

Oh, there’s a bunch. [But] for the most part, it’s all good. •
