Universal Wealth Management moves to Cranston

CRANSTON – Universal Wealth Management, an independent financial services firm, has moved its headquarters from Providence to Cranston.
After nearly a decade of operating out of Providence, the company has moved to 945 Reservoir Ave., and celebrated a grand opening ceremony with Cranston Mayor Allan Fung last week.
“The new headquarters in Cranston supports the growth of our company, is conveniently located and has ample free parking,” said Karen Emma, Universal Wealth Management founder and president.
The headquarters are going into a formerly vacant building, which was recently renovated by Emma, a lifelong Cranston resident. The firm provides investments, insurance and financial planning services, along with retirement planning, including social security enrollment and Medicare.
“We are unique in that we provide support through the complete retirement process beginning with Social Security. We also help our clients sort through and understand Medicare and its costs, to coincide with their retirement income stream,” Emma said. “I believe that few companies in the area provide this type of service.”
