Scott DePasquale, executive chairman of Utilidata and a partner with Braemar Energy Ventures, speaks during the June 5 opening of the former’s Providence headquarters. The firm provides advanced automated energy-conservation and management technology services. It moved from Spokane, Wash., after receiving venture-capital financing from Braemar and a $500,000 loan from the Rhode Island Renewable Energy Fund. The firm has created eight jobs locally and expects a total of 47 high-paying, new jobs created by 2015.
