SMITHFIELD – Bryant University has been recognized for having the best value for its project management certificate program, according to Value Colleges, which offers research about colleges to help prospective students make decisions.
Bryant ranked first among 50 colleges singled out for their project management certificate programs.
Value Colleges had this to say about Bryant:
“Primarily a business, economics, finance and accounting school, and though there are other majors, nearly every student majors in a business field. That singular focus means that business students at Bryant get an education that is a cut above most any competitor, and that Bryant’s reputation is airtight on the job market, whether in New England or anywhere else … For working professionals who want further credentialing to move into project management positions without another degree, Bryant offers a top-notch project management certificate program that can prepare students for a PMP certification.”

It also said project management is one of the fastest-growing careers, with growth expected to top 19 percent over the next four years, according to the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics. For the ranking, it said it considered all U.S. colleges and universities that offer a project management certificate program – more than 150 schools – and measured them according to cost, U.S. News & World Report data and Payscale’s college salary report for 2015 and 2016.
