Vector Software partners with AdaCore

EAST GREENWICH – Software-solutions company Vector Software Inc. has partnered with New York-based AdaCore to provide advanced software test capability to the Ada community.
Under the partnership, Vector will provide advanced dynamic and static testing capabilities to Ada’s software developers.
According to a company release, this partnership, along with Vector’s recent announcement that their VectorCAST/Ada embedded software test platform works with the latest version of the Ada Conformity Assessment Test Suite, shows a unique commitment to the Ada community.
“Vector Software has worked with AdaCore for many years,” William McCaffrey, chief operating officer for Vector, said in a statement. “We are pleased to be working closely with them to provide the best Ada development solution on the market.”
Vector Software’s VectorCast/Ada is an integrated software test solution that reduces the time, effort and costs associated with testing safety-critical software written in the Ada language.
AdaCore’s GNAT Pro is a robust Ada development environment that includes a full Ada compiler based on the GNU GCC technology, an Integrated Development Environment, a comprehensive tool suite including a visual debugger as well as a set of libraries and bindings.
