Vector announces customer training webinar series

PROVIDENCE – Vector Software Inc., which designs software-testing solutions for embedded systems and applications, will launch its new VectorCast Customer Training Webinar Series on Jan. 9.
The bi-monthly series, first launched in January 2013, will continue in 2014 with an overview of the new testing functions and tool integrations offered in the latest version of its embedded software-testing suite, VectorCast 6.2.
“These free training sessions are an informative and convenient way for our customers to get an optimal understanding of the VectorCast tool,” said Lynda Gaines, director of product marketing for Vector Software.
Each session in the webinar series will be 30-45 minutes in length and archived on the Vector Software website. Following the first webinar of the new year on Jan. 9, on the topic of “What’s new in VectorCast 6.2,” Vector Software has planned a webinar for March 13 on the topic of “Testing on Small Targets using VectorCast” and another for May 8 on the topic of “Making Optimal Use of VectorCast User Code.”
The VectorCast software-testing line boasts the largest number of third-party tool integrations on the market, according to Vector Software. Version 6.2, released on Dec. 18, added new integrations with Polarion Requirements, providing developers with bi-directional mapping of requirements and test cases, and with IBM Rational Team Concert, Vector Software’s first collaboration with a defect-tracking tool.
