Victoria J. Smith has been hired as assistant vice president for principal gifts at the University of Rhode Island Foundation. For 10 years, she held leadership roles with the American Heart Association, most recently serving as senior vice president of development at the Boston office. She holds a B.A. in political science from Union College.
