WCU employees certified as financial counselors

WESTERLY – Two Westerly Credit Union staff members have completed training and been awarded the designation of Certified Financial Counselor, according to a press release.
WCCU Sales and Services Manager Ann Pietraallo and WCCU Financial Services Officer Gale Defanti received recognition from the credit union executives for achieving the designation.
“We are proud of both Jo Ann and Gale for their commitment to becoming certified financial counselors,” said Westerly Credit Union CEO and President Steve White
The Credit Union Financial Counseling School’s training program covers topics including taxes, insurance, investments, consumer credit and retirement.
