Washington Trust declares 4Q dividend

WESTERLY – The board of directors of Washington Trust Bancorp Inc., parent of The Washington Trust Co., declared a 27 cents per share dividend for the quarter ending Dec. 31, according to an announcement from the bank.
The dividend is a 1 cent increase over the dividend paid last quarter and is the board’s third dividend increase this year. It will be paid on Jan. 14, 2014 to shareholders of record on Jan. 2.
