Washington Trust finances F.H. French office space

WESTERLY – Washington Trust has provided financing for office space in Lincoln to real estate firm F.H. French Co. affiliates, according to a press release.

The $6.94 million in commercial mortgage financing from Washington Trust’s Commercial Real Estate Group is to refinance about 100,000 square feet of office space at Blackstone Valley Place.

“The F.H. French Co. is known for delivering quality products to the Rhode Island real estate market,” said Washington Trust Chairman, President and CEO Joseph J. MarcAurele. Washington Trust chairman, president and CEO, in prepared remarks. “We are pleased to expand the Bank’s relationship with this customer.”

F.H. French, which was founded in 1935, owns about 750,000-square-feet of commercial office and medical properties in Rhode Island. Its developments during the past 25 years are valued at more than $300 million.
