Washington Trust names Rumford manager

WESTERLEY – The Washington Trust Co. has named Saleh Yassine assistant vice president, branch manager of the its new branch opening in the Rumford area of East Providence.
Saleh has served in the same position at the bank’s East Providence branch, at 587 Taunton Ave., since 2013. He will take over at the new Rumford branch at 330 Newport Ave., which is slated to open this spring, according to a press release.
A graduate of Johnson and Wales University, Saleh will assume responsibilities for managing the daily operations of the branch, growing its deposit base and “maintaining Washington Trust’s active role in the community,” according to the bank.
The opening of the Rumford branch marks the 19th branch of Washington Trust’s to open in Rhode Island and Connecticut.
