WARWICK – Washington Trust has opened a new mortgage-loan production office located at 171 Service Ave., in Warwick. Mortgage loan processing and underwriting will be done on-site allowing for a faster and more efficient service. The bank announced the addition March 19.

The office is managed by longtime Rhode Island mortgage professional Al Grant and his team of experienced mortgage specialists. The bank also announced it is committed to substantially increasing its lending to Rhode Island homeowners by originating more than $300 million in mortgage loans in the Ocean State. The Bank is also plans on hiring 12 mortgage lending professionals to work in its expanding mortgage area.
