Webster Bank donates to Red Cross for hurricane victims

PROVIDENCE – Webster Bank, the Waterbury-based regional bank serving businesses and consumers from Westchester County, N.Y., to Boston, has made a $10,000 donation to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to help support those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Led by the American Red Cross in the Conn. and Rhode Island region, the donation with help the Red Cross supply food, shelter and basic services to storm victims across Webster’s four-state footprint.

Hurricane Sandy adversely affected millions of individuals and families, spanning several states. The Red Cross is working closely with local, state and federal officials and community organizations to coordinate this multi-state relief response and help ensure people get the help they need.
