Westerly Community Credit Union unveils express loan for small businesses

WESTERLY – Westerly Community Credit Union has launched a new “express business loan,” which is designed to provide quick financing to small businesses.
The credit union is offering up to $50,000 in funds at a fixed rate for up to eight years, with no minimum amount required to borrow, according to a press release. The financing, which the credit union says is made available in as few as three days, is design specifically for small businesses.
“As a small business ourselves, we are aware of the challenges small businesses face when it comes to financing options,” said Steve White, president and CEO of the credit union. “We are always proud to offer products and services that support our local businesses and in turn, our local economy.
Westerly Community Credit Union, with $230 million in assets, serves more than 16,500 members in Rhode Island and New London County in Connecticut.
