Westport trust gets $85K for Noquochoke land

BOSTON – The Westport Land Conservation Trust last month received an $85,000 grant to protect 32.5 acres of land tied to Noquochoke River Conservation Project.
The funding was awarded as part of $504,117 in grants given through the Mass. Energy and Environmental Affairs Conservation Partnership Grant Program, which were given to seven nonprofits to preserve 212 acres of open space in Massachusetts.
