What do you think of The Rhode Island Foundation’s new “Make It Happen RI” initiative?

Posted 8/5/12

Last week The Rhode Island Foundation created a two-day event, “Make It Happen RI,” to bring the private sector together to brainstorm specific plans, along with paths to implementation, to jump start the state’s economy and bring down Rhode Island’s stubborn unemployment rate.

The September gathering will be by invitation, although the foundation has set up an email inbox, at MakeItHappenRI@rifoundation.org, to accept ideas from the general public.

According the foundation President and CEO Neil D. Steinberg, the gathering “is consistent with our mission, to be a philanthropic and community leader to meet the needs of Rhode Island.”
