Wright-Pierce recognized as one of top 500 design firms

PROVIDENCE – Wright-Pierce, an engineering consulting firm serving clients throughout the Northeast, was selected as one of the top 500 design firms in the country by trade publication Engineering News Record.
Engineering News Record compiles and publishes annual rankings of the largest engineering and construction firms in the country, as measured by gross revenues.
Wright-Pierce has been ranked in the Top 500 for six consecutive years, and with 10 percent revenue growth last year, the firm attained its highest ranking to date at No. 355. It jumped 14 spots from last year when it ranked No. 369, according to a company spokeswoman.
According to a company news release, Wright-Pierce’s strong growth in 2014 was marked by additions of several senior level engineers. The firm also completed the design of several major infrastructure projects throughout the Northeast that proceeded into construction.
These projects included upgrades to wastewater treatment facilities for an advanced tertiary wastewater treatment system for Smithfield and Cranston.
John Braccio, president and CEO, attributed the 68-year-old firm’s growth and higher ranking to “our continued strong commitment to working with our clients to identify and implement the best, most sustainable solutions for their infrastructure needs. Our client-focused approach has proven to be a win-win strategy.”
The company has seven locations. In addition to Providence, it has offices in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
