Wright-Pierce recognized for excellence at industry summit

PROVIDENCE – Engineering firm Wright-Pierce received a Circle of Excellence Platinum Award at the 2014 A/E/C (architecture/engineering/construction) Industry Summit held in Orlando last month.
The engineering firm, which specializes in water, wastewater, stormwater and infrastructure services for public and private clients, was recognized for the third consecutive year. It also was one of six North American firms to receive the award for sustained business excellence.
David Burstein, PSMJ Resources principal, said in a statement that this particular award celebrates the achievement of excelling in the industry throughout the “ups and downs of the economy.”
“Circle of excellence firms are well-managed, have a strong client base and are led in a responsible and sustainable manner,” he said.
PSMJ Resources Inc. is the premier management consulting firm for the architecture, engineering and construction industries.
William E. Brown, the firm’s chairman, received the award on behalf of the firm. Brown said the award “is a testament to Wright-Pierce’s continued commitment to client service and to attracting talented professionals who share this vision.”
Founded in 1947, Wright-Pierce is employee-owned and has a staff of more than 200 engineers and support professionals located in seven offices.
