Emily Greenhalgh joined Providence Business News as the web editor and technology reporter in March 2012. Prior to joining PBN, she was a reporter and editorial assistant at MassDevice.com and science writer at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences. In the past, Greenhalgh has been a contributing writer to Rhode Island EPSCoR's Currents publication, The Bermudian magazine and The Royal Gazette newspaper. She has a bachelor's degree in marine biology from the University of Rhode Island and a master’s degree of science and medical journalism from Boston University.
