After a six-month period as acting president, Mark R. Marcantano has officially been named president and chief operating officer of Women & Infants Hospital, Care New England said Wednesday. Marcantano, who has been in leadership roles at the hospital since 2010, began serving as interim president following the retirement in October of Constance A. Howes, who left the hospital after 30 years. more
