The Jewelers Board of Trade has appointed Anthony J. Capuano as president. He joins JBT from HSBC Bank N.A., where he served as vice president and senior relationship manager. Capuano replaces Dione K. Kenyon as president, who will remain with JBT until the end of April when she will retire after a transitional phase, according to a press release. more

United Way of Rhode Island has made $90,000 in grants available for nonprofit organizations through the release of a request for proposals for the organization’s Olneyville Community Fund. Grants will be awarded to organizations located in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence, or to programs or projects that located in or designed to serve that community.
