Members of more than 40 schools and charities in the region that shared more than $40,000 in grants from the 2013 CVS Caremark Downtown 5K, held Sept. 22 in Providence, gather with representatives from CVS Caremark and Tufts Health Plan. Grants were presented Nov. 26 to the youth-focused nonprofit organizations and schools. More than $1.4 million has been raised for charity since CVS became the title sponsor in 2000. Tufts sponsored the race’s 3K High School Inspirational for the fifth time this year. more
