The Steven K. Latimer Memorial 5K, the first annual fundraising event for the Steven K. Latimer Memorial Scholarship Fund, will be held Sept. 29 at Roger Williams Park to benefit the fund that will provide educational scholarships to Rhode Island students who have lost a parent or parents due to an act of violence.
