PROVIDENCE – Collette presented a $6,500 grant to The College Crusade of Rhode Island in early March to help support the organization’s college readiness programs for students in Joseph Jenks Junior High School and Samuel Slater Junior High School in Pawtucket.

“We are grateful to Collette for its dedication to improving educational outcomes in our local community,” said Andrew Bramson, president and CEO of The College Crusade. “These funds will allow us to continue working closely with Pawtucket students and families who are committed to forging a path toward postsecondary educational success.”

The grant is part of a matching fund for The College Crusade’s federal GEAR UP grant from the U.S. Department of Education, which will help develop a personalized, after-school advising program for students at both of the Pawtucket schools.
