PAWTUCKET – Developers and city officials will gather at the former Union Wadding Co. complex at 125 Goff Ave. this afternoon at 1 to mark the end of phase one of the mill-to-condo conversion.
The 330,000-square-foot renovation, undertaken by First National Development LLC, is slated to reach “buildout ” in 2010. So far, 90 of the planned 245 affordable condominiums have been finished, city officials said.
Aurora Leigh, First National’s Rhode Island project manager, told Providence Business News in February that the units will be marketed locally first “because we’re basically pricing them at entry level.” (READ MORE) The first 89 condos range from 800 to 1,700 square feet and are priced at $125,000 to $285,000, she said.
