‘Startup for startups’ ready for business

Allan Tear, managing partner at Betaspring, speaks at the kickoff for the self-described “startup for startups” in Providence. The event was held earlier this month at the recently opened Rhode Island Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Betaspring was formed to provide mentorship and micro-seed venture capital to young technology and digital-media entrepreneurs.
