Former T.I. buildings sold for $5.2M
By PBN Staff

ATTLEBORO – Two buildings located within the former Texas Instruments Inc. campus have been sold for $5.2M, the Boston Business Journal reported yesterday.

An affiliate of First American Realty Inc. bought the two buildings on what is now known as the Attleboro Corporate Campus from Preferred Unlimited Inc., which bought the buildings from Texas Instruments in 2005 and renovated them. The business park is located off Route 123 in Attleboro.

Philip Shwachman, president of Worcester, Mass.-based First American, told The Sun Chronicle he does not plan to make any changes to the buildings because both “have tenants with long-term leases.”

The two facilities are the 213,000-square-foot Building 12, which is currently Sensata Technologies’ main manufacturing plant, and the 5,650-square-foot Building 5, which is leased to industrial gas distributor The BOC Group Inc., the newspapers said.

Conshohocken, Pa.-based Preferred Unlimited was formerly known as Preferred Real Estate Investments Inc.
