PROVIDENCE – Eleanor Slater Hospital is joining the Hospital Association of Rhode Island, effective April 1.

Cynthia Huether, Eleanor Slater Hospital CEO, will join the HARI Board of Trustees as an ex-officio, non-voting member. Huether said the Eleanor Slater Hospital team is pleased to work with HARI.

“Having the opportunity to partner with professional organizations across Rhode Island helps the state hospital provide the best possible care to our patients. We look forward to collaborating with all members of HARI to allow for new ideas and energy within our system,” Huether said in a news release Friday.

Michael R. Souza, HARI president, said the organization looks forward to working with the hospital, which, as a member of HARI, will benefit from peer-to-peer learning, quality and patient-safety initiatives, data analysis and reports, professional-development opportunities and industry news and insights.
