Even if you’re not running in Providence’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon this Sunday, you can still get a dose of rock from the sidewalk. Early risers can cheer on runners from the sidelines while listening to a variety of mini-concerts around the city. The marathon kicks off on Gaspee Street in front of the State House, with live bands situated at every mile of the course. At the finish line on Francis Street, the Billboard charting duo Karmin will take the stage.
