The Courthouse Center for the Arts will present “Titanic” Friday, with performances through July 15. The 1997Tony award-winner for best musical comes to the Courthouse 100 years after the sinking of its infamous namesake. “Titanic” explores the romance of technology and progress, and the idolatry of the upper-classes by those less privileged. The musical focuses on the characters on board and delves into how humans behave when faced with the ultimate challenge. Twelve professional actors will play almost 35 characters, portraying an assortment of classes and nationalities.
