William Hamilton joined Providence Business News as a staff writer in July 2007. He previously had worked as a copy editor and page designer at The Providence Journal and The Herald News of Fall River. Before that, Hamilton had worked as a reporter for nine years at The Times of Pawtucket, and previously, at The Kent County Times in West Warwick. He graduated from the University of Rhode Island, with a degree in journalism.
