Cybercrime is Growing, with Hackers Getting Smarter Everyday.

And What You Don't Know about Cyber Threats Can Hurt Your Business. 

We've seen the headlines: Major hacking and data theft at Anthem, Ashley Madison, Sony and Target - to name a few.  Locally, VIBCO suffered a serious attack and it took the RI manufacturer weeks to restore data networks.

The PBN October 27th Summit will provide business owners, nonprofit executives CIOs, CSOs, and CFOs current information on the variety of threats and the best measures to take to prevent breaches and theft of client, customer, and employee information, as well as other sensitve company data.

Governor Gina Raimondo will open the Summit, and talk about her concerns about cybersecurity - of which she recently said: "Cyber attacks have the potential to impact everything we do, from protecting the health and safety of Rhode Islanders to growing our economy." The Governor also recently created the new RI Cybersecurity Commission.
