Arden Engineering Constructors Purchases Rayco Electrical Contractors of Providence

Pawtucket, RI  — Arden Engineering Constructor, LLC is pleased to announce the purchase of Rayco Electrical Contractors of Providence, Rhode Island. This new division of Arden Engineering Constructors will operate under the new name of Rayco – Arden.

Rayco Electrical has been a leader in serving the growing specialized electrical construction market in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. And is one of the most respected electrical contracting firms in the area.

The acquisition of Rayco Electrical Contractors emphasizes Arden Engineering’s commitment to providing complete electrical design and construction services to the highly specialized medical, data center and high-tech customer market.

Rayco – Arden will enhance Arden Engineering’s ability to offer complete solutions to specialized environments such as computer and server rooms, sensitive and specialized medical equipment environments and government installations.

Rayco was formed in Providence, Rhode Island in 1981 by David Ray and Fred Colucci.

Rayco Electrical Contractors provided the electrical service for the first twenty MRIs installed in the state of Rhode Island including the first Gamma Knife installation.

 

Rayco specializes in historical, governmental, medical and data center electrical design and installations and will continues its business at the present location in Providence, Rhode Island.

It joins Arden Engineering Constructors, LLC, a subsidiary of The Arden Building Companies, LLC whose holdings also include, M.J. Daly, Unique Metal Works, Corporate Mechanical of New England and Earthwise Energy Technologies.
