About Sasha Zacarias
Sasha Zacarias saw her dream of becoming Miss Latina US fulfilled on the evening of July 2nd in Riviera Maya, Mexico. At age 23, this was her second shot at the crown, having achieved a 2n Runner-Up placement in her previous attempt as Miss Rhode Island Latina 2007 and proving that you can accomplish your goals with hard work, discipline and perseverance.

The bright and beautiful new titleholder speaks fluent English and Spanish, has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development & Family Studies, and presently works as an Investigator for the Identity Theft Protection Unit of the State Attorney’s Office in Rhode Island. She is an instructor of runway modeling and does her on modeling on
the side.

Sasha followed her national title win just one week later with a proud sixth place finish at the international finals and also receiving the important continental queen award for North America and the Caribbean that distinguishes her for academic excellence and outstanding life achievements.
