Rhode Island Private Eye, Vic Pichette, of Genesis Investigations, a 22-year veteran says “ It is amazing to me that a person like Tiger Woods did not know that everything he was doing on his and others people’s cell phones and computers is out there for all of us to see. I have no idea what he was thinking.

“What I refer to as “The Bug” Pichette says is how communication technologies can easily be tracked just like a BUG, and if you are not informed, that bug will come back and bite you.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t get calls from someone who suspects a spouse or employee is using the cell phone or computer for suspicious activities. People have to understand that even if they delete information from a cell phone or the computer, in does not mean that is has been completely removed, and the information can be found by savvy investigators.

A woman, who claims to have had an affair with Tiger Woods, says she has more than 300 text messages from the golf star, including voice messages.

“I ‘m not shocked that Tiger has had affairs says Pichette, but I am shocked that he did not realize that what he was doing was going to help him to get caught.

Voice messages, e-mails, instant messages, text messages, and web sites can all be tracked, and that includes deleted information.

“Even if someone understands how to hide the information, it can still be retrieved from the carrier, so if you’re going to do things like this, be prepared to eventually get caught.

It’s not like the old days when a cheater could pretty much do anything without anyone knowing. Today, we can track phones, computers, and vehicles. There is nowhere to hide if someone has the resources and desire to catch you.

Pichette’s company, Genesis Investigations, has been providing Computer and Cheater Investigations also known as computer forensics for over two decades.

Pichette says that he is seeing an upswing in Covert GPS Sales, Computer Spyware and Covert SIMM Card readers for cell phones.

Pichette has a warning for the cheaters out there, “Don’t do it if you want to keep your marriage, it’s simply not worth it.
My satisfaction comes when people realize that they have made a big mistake and the family works it out. “I really appreciate when I get a call or note from a past client saying that because of my investigation, they worked it out and the family is going strong.”

You can catch Pichette on the speaking circuit, on the Rhode Island Learning Connection and on YouTube.
