Project Management Firm Faithful+Gould Opens Providence Office

In order to better serve clients throughout the New England region, Faithful+Gould recently opened a new location in Providence, Rhode Island.  Located at 151 Broadway in the historic Federal Hill neighborhood of Providence, the new office will be led by Walter Zaman with oversight by Paul Male, senior vice president and director of Faithful+Gould’s Boston office.

Walter has almost 30 years of experience as a senior estimator / project manager, cost analyst and administrator for construction and engineering companies.  His areas of expertise include project budgeting, master planning, construction scheduling, infrastructure, coordination of M/E/P and construction activities, and estimating from concept design through bid documents.  Since joining Faithful+Gould’s Boston office in 2005, he has supported Paul on more than 400 projects, with a particular focus on M/E/P estimating for clients in the higher education, healthcare, and pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.

Walter said that the addition of a Providence office will enable the firm to expand its presence throughout the region. “Faithful+Gould has worked with almost every college and university in New England, but the distance to Rhode Island and Connecticut in particular has been an obstacle,” he said. “Having a base of operations in Providence will allow us to better serve our clients in those states and to target new opportunities.”

Walter will be joined in this move by project managers / cost estimators Ron Riccitelli and Robert Zaman, also formerly of the Boston office.  This team will continue to serve the University of Connecticut and other existing clients, with the goal of expanding the firm’s cost offerings to colleges and universities, healthcare institutions, municipalities and private companies.  Long-term plans call for the addition of five new team members within a year, with additional projected growth thereafter.

“Over the past nine years Walter has played an enormous role in the success of our Boston office,” Paul said. “I’m confident in his ability to lead this effort, and look forward to the opportunity to develop our business while serving our key clients in Rhode Island and Connecticut.”
