PROVIDENCE – As resolutions already begin to sag and slip by the wayside, the Providence Warwick Convention & Visitors Bureau (PWCVB) hopes to help. On Thursday, January 26, the PWCVB will conduct a day of education aimed at sharpening professionals’ sales, technology and customer service skills.

“Resolutions 2012” will be held at the Rhode Island Convention Center from 9 a.m. to
5 p.m. and features both national and local experts. The day will be divided between three general sessions and a series of break-out sessions that delve into greater depth on the same topics.

The three general session speakers are Greg Evans, director of account services for Simple View, Inc.; Gail Lowey Alison, director of corporate partnerships at Newport Harbor Corporation; and Brian Butler, vice president of sales and marketing for the Allied Group. Other speakers include: Curt Columbus, artistic director of the Trinity Repertory Company; and Michael Sabatini, professor at Johnson & Wales University. A full list of all the speakers can be found here.

“This is an opportunity for local professionals – in any field – to receive a first class education in a local setting at a fair price,” noted PWCVB President & CEO Martha Sheridan. “The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to reinvigorate your work life with a day of learning.”
