PROVIDENCE – A company affiliated with the massive Dutch food-industry retailer Ahold Delhaize is seeking nearly $2 million in state corporate incentives to locate a food-manufacturing facility in Rhode Island.
The project for Infinity Meat Solutions LLC is expected to involve a $110 million manufacturing plant. The location was not identified in agenda documents published by the R.I. Commerce Corp.

The Commerce RI board will meet Monday to consider the incentives.
The corporation is seeking $1.9 million in tax credits, including through the Qualified Jobs Incentive program and through Rebuild Rhode Island.
Qualified Jobs allows employers who create jobs that either pay above the state median salary or are in targeted industries a tax credit of up to $7,500 per position, per year. Rebuild Rhode Island is designed to help offset the expense of renovating an older facility or building new construction for economic-development purposes.
Ahold Delhaize is headquartered in the Netherlands and operates brands in the U.S., including Hannaford, Food Lion and Stop & Shop supermarkets. It also operates in southeastern Europe, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The company reported 62.9 billion euros ($73.1 billion) in net sales in 2017, a 26.6 percent increase compared with 2016, according to its annual report. It employs 369,000 associates in total.
In other business, Commerce RI is expected to consider $2 million in incentives for General Dynamics Electric Boat, which would support a manufacturing facility of $707 million. The company is seeking Rebuild Rhode Island tax credits.
Commerce also is expected to consider approving relocation incentives for iXblue Defense Systems Inc., which is seeking job-creation tax credits as part of a relocation of operations to the Ocean State. The company is a leading global provider of innovative solutions and services for navigation, positioning and imaging, according to the Commerce agenda documents.
Another project would provide Qualified Jobs tax credits to Advertising Ventures Inc., a communications firm with offices in Providence and Miami, for an expansion in Rhode Island.
