FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Three IT services firms based in Rhode Island and two others located in Massachusetts will hold a daylong event at Gillette Stadium next week to help their clients understand how to better integrate the technology they use.
The “Business Growth and Continuity Forum” is being hosted by Atrion Networking Corp. and PC Troubleshooters Inc., both based in Warwick; Code Red Business Continuity Services LLC of Cranston; Integrated Security Inc. of Foxborough; and EchoStor Technologies of Hopkinton, Mass.
The invitation-only educational event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Gillette’s Club Lounge Southwest. It will include a trade show, roundtable discussions, workshops and a strategic-planning discussion.
Topics to be discussed include business continuity and growth; security and compliance issues; and emerging technologies. The latter will be led by a representative of IBM Corp.
The five companies say they have formed a partnership in order to bolster one another and improve their service and product offerings in the midst of the recession.
“PC Troubleshooters has always been active across the industry community, but now in the midst of the recession, collaboration is crucial,” Eric M. Shorr, the company’s president, said in a news release. By collaborating, he added, “we are able to provide our clients with a diverse array of solutions and at competitive prices.”
The group said it plans to hold additional educational forums in the future. Paul Cronin, senior vice president of Atrion, said the first event “is a valuable example of the collaboration our companies embody.”
