Batchbook app launched for Android

PROVIDENCE – Software developer BatchBlue LLC released a mobile app version of Batchbook, which helps small business organize contacts, for Android smartphones earlier this month.
Batchbook collaborated with Providence-based software engineering company Panoptic Development to create the app, which can be downloaded from the Android Market for free.
With Batchbook, businesses can share and update an online contact list, which can include any information the company wants to record, such as specific customer preferences or personal details. Users can also share to-do lists, record past communications with contacts and track sales with Batchbook.
BatchBlue released a Batchbook iPhone app in October, and it was installed nearly 5,000 times in its first six months, Providence Business News reported in May. Batchbook can be viewed but not edited on other mobile phones, such as BlackBerry and Palm.
