The Plant – a new mixed-use development in Olneyville that will feature affordable live/work studio and commercial spaces as well as a community enterprise center – was transformed for a night by local designers on March 1, when it hosted the the Arts & Business Council of Rhode Island’s Encore Awards.
The event was themed “Evolving the Creative Connection.” Besides the awards, it also featured food from local restaurants, a fashion show, performances by Festival Ballet Providence and Opera Providence, and an after-party with electronic music.
