PROVIDENCE – Brand communications firm (add)ventures said this week that its Miami office is joining with Prism Group Inc., a public relations and special events company, to offer more competitive solutions to corporations that market in Latin America, as well as to the U.S. Hispanic population.

The companies will work independently from a shared Coconut Grove-based office.

The strategic partnership, which was inked last month, formalizes the integration that resulted as the firms worked collaboratively for clients such as Acer, Alcatel, Lexmark, Samsung and Welch-Allyn.

“It has been such a positive and prolific relationship that we are taking it to the next level by living together,” Stephen Rosa, president and CEO of (add)ventures, said in a statement.

Said Julissa Nova, president of Prism Group, “We look forward to a fruitful alliance with a company who shares the same vision as we do, and are confident that the synergy will meet and exceed the needs of our clients.”

In addition to Providence and Miami, (add)ventures, founded in 1989, also has an office in New York City, and partnerships with firms in Argentina and Estonia.

Prism Group, based in Miami, bills itself as a multinational public relations and events boutique agency with reach throughout Latin America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
