Adler Pollock & Sheehan has promoted 8 Associates to the Counsel position, effective January 1, 2021.

The following eight Associates have been promoted to the position of Counsel.

Ali Khorsand is a civil litigator whose practice focuses on representing employers in employment-related disputes throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. He has represented employers, government entities and individuals in age, gender, race, and disability discrimination suits in state and federal courts and administrative agencies in various jurisdictions.

Kelly A. Kincaid is a member of the firm’s litigation group. Her practice includes assisting clients in a variety of civil matters including disputes involving personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, toxic torts and premises liability actions. Kelly currently serves as President of the Women’s Bar Association.

Caroline B. Lapish specializes in litigation defense work in the Massachusetts and Connecticut state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on the defense of premises cases, licensed site professionals, and other individuals and businesses in a variety of contexts. Caroline also serves as regional counsel for a national retailer handling cases in MA, CT, and R.I

Joshua S. Parks’ diverse practice involves assisting clients on a wide array of civil matters, including complex commercial litigation, personal injury, negligence, and contractual disputes. Josh has significant experience in maritime law, and advises clients on vessel arrests, attachments, limitation actions, and related matters.

Daniel J. Procaccini represents businesses and individuals in complex commercial disputes, product liability actions, high-stakes government investigations, and sensitive internal probes. He has advised clients across a wide variety of industries, including healthcare organizations, educational institutions, consumer products manufacturers, and technology companies.

Nicholas L. Nybo is a commercial trial and appellate litigator who has experience with private and public contract disputes, state and federal court receiverships, municipal pension litigation, election law disputes and constitutional tort litigation. His professional interests include employment law, specifically first amendment and whistleblower litigation.

William K. Wray is a member of the firm’s litigation group and has represented businesses and governments in an array of litigation matters that span intellectual property, corporate law, employment law, real estate disputes, and professional malpractice. He has also counseled individuals on issues of defamation and constitutional law.

Matthew E. Waters is a member of the firm’s Public Finance and Business & Corporate Law Groups. He regularly represents LPs in private equity and other alternative investments and his practice encompasses a broad array of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial and public finance, real estate, entity formation and dissolution, and tax matters.
