In response to damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, American Dryer Corp. is hoping to help those affected throughout the Northeast by making sure they have access to laundry services.
The Fall River-based company will work with local equipment dealers to help laundry businesses get their washers and dryers functioning again by sending a team of laundry service technicians to areas in dire need.
“The devastation caused by … Sandy goes beyond our industry and we felt a responsibility to those communities affected to take part in their recovery,” said CEO Joe Bazzinotti.
As a result, American Dryer has revved up production and is building extra inventory to ensure plenty of equipment and parts are available to accommodate their customers’ specific needs.
For businesses ready to rebuild, ADC has established various programs with special pricing and financing to help laundries resume business for the long term.
Company employees also pitched in by donating canned goods, toiletries and more, which will be delivered throughout the greater New York and New Jersey areas.
