PROVIDENCE – Brand culture and communications firm (add)ventures announced Tuesday it has been selected as the agency of record for AOC Latin America.

Headquartered in Taiwan, AOC International is a multinational electronics company and subsidiary of TPV Technology, a Fortune China 500 electronics company and the world’s largest manufacturer of computer monitors. Founded in 1934, AOC currently sells to more than 100 countries worldwide.

Under the agreement, (add)ventures will lead all of AOC Latin America’s marketing activities, including but not limited to creative, design, promotions, product launches, video and trade marketing. The firm will serve markets in the Caribbean islands and all Latin American countries, with the exception of Brazil, Chile, Peru, Argentina and Puerto Rico.

“We opened the (add)ventures Miami/LATAM gateway hub to serve renowned international brands like AOC, and this partnership affords our team an opportunity to do so,” said Stephen Rosa, president and CEO of (add)ventures. “We couldn’t think of a better place to inform and inspire the U.S. Hispanic marketing work we do than in Miami, the commerce capital of Latin America.”

“This new partnership reiterates the importance of global business,” added Joel Velez, managing director of strategy/creative at (add)ventures. “We are excited for our team to transcend frontiers, as Miami is the gateway to the Americas and the Caribbean. This represents huge economic and strategic opportunities.”

Backed by more than 60 years of experience, TPV became the largest display manufacturer in the world after acquiring part of Philips’ monitor and entry-level flat-screen television-manufacturing business in 2005. A daughter company of TPV, AOC designs products ranging from curved and rapid-response monitors to multifunctional televisions and tablets that elevate users’ creative, gaming and corporate experiences.
