PROVIDENCE – The deadline to apply for Cox Business’ Get Started Rhode Island 2017 competition is approaching, the company reminded potential applicants on Monday.
Get Started Rhode Island is a business pitch competition that awards $50,000 in prizes, including $25,000 in cash. Applicants pitch their concepts to a panel of judges who then vote on which pitch was the most award worthy.
Proposals are due by June 30. The event will take place on Oct. 4 at the WaterFire Arts Center.
Providence Business News is a participating sponsor in the Get Started Rhode Island competition and PBN Editor Mark S. Murphy will be one of the judges at the event.
