Following his successful run as the men’s basketball coach at the University of Rhode Island, which culminated with two consecutive appearances in the NCAA Division 1 men’s basketball championship tournament, Dan Hurley signed on to coach the University of Connecticut’s men’s team for a reported six-year deal worth roughly $2.75 million in the first year.…
