NORTH ATTLEBOROUGH – Assisted Living Locators has opened a new location in North Attleborough, owned by Assisted Living Locators Eldercare Advisor Maggie daSilva, to offer assistance in locating quality assisted-living options throughout southeast Massachusetts, Cape Cod and the islands.
The company offers seniors and families free expert advice on short- and long-term care options, including in-home care, independent living, assisted living, memory care and retirement apartments, according to a recent announcement on the launch. The company’s revenue comes from the referral fees paid by the facilities.

The U.S. Census reports that in 2050, the number of Americans aged 65 and older is projected to be 88.5 million, more than double its projected population of 40.2 million in 2010.
Assisted Living Locators offers a complete assessment of a senior’s needs, daSilva said.
“As a result of our growing senior population, many different options for care and housing are available, including in-home companion care; 55-plus communities; independent retirement options; assisted living and memory care; and nursing homes,” daSilva said. “Seniors and their families need a trusted adviser to help them navigate what can be an overwhelming amount of information. We are also a resource for short-term respite care, emergency discharges and out-of-town relocations.
“Our goal is to assist families in choosing appropriate care options for their loved ones, to save time, decrease stress and to provide ‘peace of mind,’ ” daSilva said. “And because I live in the community, I look at a wide range of options for seniors that just can’t be matched by online resource databases. I tour and rank all the facilities we recommend, and make sure all our partners in the senior care market are fully committed to providing the best care possible.”
