WEST WARWICK – AstroNova Inc. President and CEO Gregory A. Woods was paid $1.7 million by the test and measurement, and product identification manufacturer in fiscal 2019, according to the company’s proxy statement.
Wood’s base salary was $409,911 for fiscal 2019, which ended Jan. 31. He earned $505,069 in stock awards, $366,563 in options awards, and $79,631 of “other compensation,” including unused vacation, vehicle allowance, and disability and life insurance policies.
In fiscal 2018, Woods earned $703,224 from AstroNova.
The proxy statement did not include a CEO pay ratio to the median salary for fiscal 2019 year. In fiscal 2018, the median salary for an AstroNova employee was $51,991, making CEO to median pay 13.5 to 1.
The company said it had 374 employees as of Jan. 31, 2019.
The company also reported that it paid Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer David S. Smith $762,619 in fiscal 2019, with a base salary of $265,469.
The company’s Vice President and Chief Technology Officer Michael J. Natalizia earned $637,033 in fiscal 2019, with a base salary of $198,019.
The company reported earnings of $5.7 million in the 2019 fiscal year, ended Jan. 31.
